All of our services begin with an important and informative consultation with audiologist Ellen Mosher. During the consultation, Ellen evaluates your personal history regarding your listening environments, job duties, difficult listening situations, and your medical history. By evaluating the context of your current hearing difficulties, we are then able to assess the cause of your hearing impairment and work toward a solution.
Comprehensive Audiological Testing
After audiologist Ellen Mosher reviews your personal medical hearing history and current hearing problems that you are experiencing, you undergo a complete diagnostic hearing test. This battery of tests analyzes various aspects of your hearing parameters and is used to produce an audiogram.
Selection of Appropriate Hearing Aid
The audiogram records the type of hearing loss you have, and this, coupled with your individual life-style preferences, determines which technology and style of hearing aid is optimal for your hearing loss and listening environments.
Medical Legal Hearing Evaluations
Some jobs require a certain level of hearing to perform that job safely. Other jobs may contribute to hearing loss and result in a workers' compensation claim. In both of these situations a hearing evaluation is needed to document your current hearing level. Ellen Mosher has been providing workers' compensation hearing evaluations since 1978.
